With One iota’s assisted selling iPads currently implemented in over 50 Life Style Sports stores, the retailer has trained all of its staff in assisted selling to truly maximise sales performance and advance overall retail sales. Since the initial implementation, Life Style Sports is experiencing improved sales performance across all of its stores. The native iOS app, developed specifically for use on the in-store iPads, provides customers with a seamless user experience.

One iota’s assisted selling iPad solution

One iota carried out the technical integration between its own platform, MESH and Life Style Sports’ existing eCommerce platform. The off-the-shelf and SaaS based native iOS app was then developed in line with Life Style Sports’ own specific requirements, and installed on the iPad.

The assisted selling solution comprises of an iPad mini device fitted with PCI compliant Chip & PIN and wireless printing, for use when e-receipting is not preferred by the shopper. The iPads are carried around the store by Life Style Sports’ sales team members who are able to assist shoppers anywhere in-store. They have access to more product information than ever before, and can check stock availability and transact away from the traditional till point.
