The team at Life Style Sports has seen exceptional growth in its online business in recent years and was keen to continue investment and deliver a high-quality shoppable mobile app experience for its most loyal customers. The retailer was looking for a proven technology partner who could support its aim to drive engagement and sales.

With Apps providing a rich source of data this combined with Salesforce Cloud Commerce's recommendations API Einstein will allow brands like Life Style Sports to provide customers with contextual content. Using this data in combination with Push Notifications which have a much higher open rate than more traditional channels such as SMS and email can help to drive frequency of visit and increase average order values.

INTEGRATION

The teams collaborated to design and develop a technical integration between Life Style Sports’ existing Salesforce Cloud Commerce  platform and the Consumer Mobile App running in One iota’s Amazon Web Services (AWS) environment. ​The technology stack that has been used to deliver this  allows new features and functionality to be delivered quickly to iOS and Android experiences by a single team. Building new features for the Life Style Sports app will be crucial to setting them apart from the crowd, leading to improved conversion, higher average order values and increased repeat purchases.

Life Style Sports were focused on providing a frictionless shopping experience as possible or their customers, covering all aspects of the purchase journey from search to delivery and payment options including Gift Cards and Apple Pay.
