REGATTA ELEVATING THE IN-STORE CUSTOMER EXPERIENCE

Regatta has become one of the world's biggest outdoor brands over the last 38 years by crafting rugged gear for all adventures. With over 120 retail stores in more than 55 countries, the brand has become a household name internationally and has now set its sights on expanding throughout America. Regatta's product line typically includes waterproof jackets, insulated outerwear, fleeces, hiking boots, and other outdoor accessories. The brand is known for its commitment to providing quality and durable clothing at reasonable prices, making it popular among outdoor enthusiasts and those looking for reliable gear for their outdoor pursuits.

CUSTOMER FIRST

Regatta wanted to improve its customers' shopping journey by creating a connected online and in-store shopping experience. through an endless aisle app, these used by retailers to enhance the shopping experience for customers and address various challenges associated with traditional brick-and-mortar retail. The key objective of the project was to ensure that staff members were empowered to help customers search and purchase items that may either not be ranged to the store or have experienced size fragmentation. With the mantra of "never lose a sale" in mind the store teams wanted to ensure they could always help customers find what they were looking for and optimise sales conversion. The ability for the store teams to be recognised for their role in an online sales was also an added benefit.

ASSISTED SALE APP

Regatta selected One iota's endless aisle application delivered as a cloud based managed service, the app running on global omnichannel payment solutions provider Adyen's S1E integrated devices running Android OS. The App enables Regatta's store teams to search its entire online range in-store and  increase conversions of out-of-stock items for products, helping to create baskets, place orders for home delivery and take payment.  Sales assistants not only have access to more product information than ever before, they also have the ability to check stock availability, access the customers transaction history and transact anywhere in-store.  

ENGAGEMENT & SALES CONVERSION

With other retail clients who have used One iota's endless aisle solution they have seen a 5-10% uplift in store sales as well as creating a raft of satisfied and loyal customers with an increased life time value. As the solutiuon moves from pilot to roll out we are looking forward to seeing how the app can deliver a better experience for Regatta customers in stores across the UK & Ireland.
