A Fully Transactional iPad-based In-store Solution

One iota was appointed by the retailer to trial its fully transactional in-store iPad-based solution in a selection of Superdry stores. The handheld device comprises of an iPad mini device carried around the store by sales assistants, fitted with PCI compliant Bluetooth Chip and PIN functionality and connected to a wireless printer in the store.

The solution fully integrates with Superdry’s existing eCommerce platform and runs on a tailored version of One iota’s off-the-shelf and SaaS based native iOS application.

The solution allows Superdry to sell its entire eCommerce range in-store and increase conversions of out of stock items. On the tablet device, sales assistants not only have access to more product information than ever before, they also have the ability to check stock availability and transact anywhere in-store. All of which greatly enhances the customer experience and helps to provide a seamless in-store shopping journey for the Superdry customer.
